Ingredients
1/4 cup Water
1 cup Onion, Minced
2 tablespoons Garlic, Minced
1 tablespoon Salt
4 1/2 cups
Furmano's Chunky Crushed Tomatoes
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Vinegar, Balsamic
1/2 teaspoon Liquid Hickory Smoke
Preparation
In a medium pot over medium heat, add olive oil.
Add onion and garlic, saute until translucent.
Add thyme, black pepper, and salt. Saute for 2 minutes.
Add Furmano's Chunky Crushed Tomatoes, soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar. Heat to 165 degrees.
Stir in hickory smoke before serving.
