Taco Soup For A Crowd



  • 3 pounds Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 each Large Sweet Onion, Diced
  • As Needed Salt and Pepper
  • As Needed Garlic Powder
  • 10 1/2 cups Furmano's Stewed Tomatoes
  • 3 5/8 cups Furmano's Petite Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies
  • 1 1/4 ounces Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 ounce Ranch Salad Dressing Mix
  • 11 5/8 cups Furmano's Red Kidney Beans
  • 3 3/4 cups Furmano's Whole Kernel Golden Corn
  • As Needed Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • As Needed Sour Cream
  1. Brown ground beef with diced onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder in a large skillet.
  2. In a large stockpot, add Furmano's Stewed Tomatoes, Furmano's Petite Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies, packages of seasoning mixes, Furmano's Red Kidney Beans and Furmano's Whole Kernel Golden Corn.
  3. Adjust seasonings and add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add ground beef mixture and simmer on medium heat until flavors blend, approximately 30 - 40 minutes.
  5. Garnish with shredded cheese and dollop of sour cream.
  6. Serve with crackers, bread sticks, cornbread sticks or muffins.
