Ingredients
- 1 pound Whole Wheat Spaghetti
- 1 pound Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 1 each Large Onion, Chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1/4 teaspoon Basil
- 1/4 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Parsley
- As Needed Salt and Pepper
- 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Crushed Tomatoes
Preparation
- Boil 3 quarts of water, then add the whole wheat spaghetti and package of frozen mixed vegetables.
- Mix in freshly cut onion, garlic, and several spices for seasoning.
- Add can of Furmano's Crushed Tomatoes to the boiling spaghetti.
- Turn off heat and let spaghetti simmer for a couple of minutes, until noodles are soft.
- Pour off liquid into mugs to drink as "soup."
