Hearty Bean Soup

Ingredients
  • 3 each Smoked Ham Hocks
  • 1 each Small Soup Bone
  • 1 1/2 quarts Water
  • 2 cups Furmano's Great Northern Beans
  • 2 cups Furmano's Black Beans
  • 2 cups Furmano's Chick Peas
  • 2 cups Furmano's Butter Beans
  • 4 each Medium Onions, Chopped Fine
  • 5 each Carrots, Chopped
  • 5 each Celery Stalks, Chopped
  • 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Whole Peeled Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 1 pound Hot Sausage
Preparation
  1. In large pot, cook ham hocks and soup bone in water until meat is done. Clean off bone and cut meat in bite size pieces.
  2. Put meat back in broth and add celery, carrots, onions and sausage. Simmer until vegetables are tender.
  3. Add all Furmano's beans and tomatoes. Simmer about 30 minutes.
