Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
  • As Needed All Purpose Flour
  • 2 each Boneless Chicken Thighs, Chopped
  • 1 fluid ounce Water
  • 3/4 cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Basil, Dry
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • As Needed Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Mixed Peppers with Onions, Undrained
  • 1/2 cup Furmano's Petite Diced Tomatoes
Preparation
  1. Coat chicken thighs with flour. Shake off any excess flour.
  2. In a medium saute pan, heat olive oil, then add chicken.
  3. When chicken begins to brown, add sliced mushrooms, minced garlic, dry basil, salt, and black pepper. Saute for five minutes.
  4. Add Mixed Peppers with Onions and Furmano's Petite Diced Tomatoes, heat to 165 degrees.
  5. Serve over pasta or rice.
