How should I store the product after opening?
After opening, we recommend storing our product in an airtight plastic or glass container in a refrigerator for no longer than 3 – 5 days. We do not recommend refrigerating the product in the can.
How should I store the product before opening?
Prior to opening, you do not need to refrigerate or freeze our products because the canning process preserves them, making them shelf stable. We recommend keeping canned products in cool, dry storage maintained at 40ºF – 85ºF.
Is it safe to use if the can if it is dented?
Yes, it’s safe to use a can with a small dent, as long as the dent is not on a seam. If the dent is on a seam, there is a chance the can is compromised, so we recommend not using it.
Can I use product beyond the “Best By” date on the can?
Yes. We recommend that products be used by that date for optimal quality and flavor. If properly stored, our canned products may be safe beyond that date; however, they could have an altered flavor or appearance.
What is a “Best By” date?
A “Best By” date is found on food packaging and indicates the date by which the product is expected to be at its best quality.
Are your containers recyclable?
Yes. Our containers and cardboard cartons are recyclable.
