Tomato Flatbread

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Warm Water
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Active Yeast
  • 3/4 cup Furmano's Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 2 1/3 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, Minced
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  3. Mix Petite Diced Tomatoes and olive oil with the water mixture.
  4. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, dry basil, pepper and garlic.
  5. Then create a well in the middle. Place tomato mixture in flour well and blend into a ball of dough.
  6. Let rest in a warm place for 1 hour.
  7. Then bake for about 10 minutes, or until slightly browned.
