Ingredients
- 4 cups Spaghetti, Cooked
- 2/3 cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated
- 2 each Eggs, Beaten
- 3 tablespoons Butter, Melted
- 2 tablespoons Dried Parsley
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Italian Style Spaghetti Sauce
- 1/3 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine noodles, 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, eggs, butter, parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Press the mixture on the bottom and up the sides of a large pie plate, to form a crust out of the pasta.
- In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with the remaining parmesan, Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.
- Spread the cheese mixture over the spaghetti crust.
- Pour spaghetti sauce over the cheese.
- Cover the edges of the crust loosely with strips of aluminum foil to prevent over-browning.
- Bake for about 25 minutes.
- Remove foil from edges of pie and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top of the pie.
- Return the pie to the oven for about 5 minutes or until cheese has melted and slightly browned.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.
