Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds Chuck Roast
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Chili Powder
1/4 teaspoon Ground Sage
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
1 cup Onion, Diced
1 cup Baby Carrots
1 pound Small Red Potatoes
1/2 cup Celery
3 1/2 cups
Furmano's Diced Tomatoes
1 cup Beef Broth
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Rosemary, Chopped
Preparation
Place onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, ground sage, and black pepper on diced chuck roast and toss to coat meat with seasoning.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a large pot over medium high heat, add olive oil.
When hot, add chuck roast and sear.
Next, add onion, baby carrots, celery, and red potatoes. Saute for 3 minutes.
Add Furmano's Diced Tomatoes, beef broth, rosemary and salt.
Cover and place in oven for 3 hours.
