Ingredients
1 pound Italian Sausage
3 1/2 cups
Furmano's Tomato Sauce
As Needed Sea Salt
As Needed Old Bay Seasoning
1 each Large Onion, Diced
1/2 cup Butter
2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
As Needed Garlic
1 liquid cup Red Wine
1 1/2 pounds Pasta
Preparation
In a frying pan, saute sausage; put aside.
In a pot, slow cook the Furmano's Tomato Sauce and spices.
In frying pan, saute onions in butter until slightly brown. Add mushrooms; set aside.
Add the meat to pot of sauce.
Add the onions, garlic and mushrooms to the sauce.
Add wine to the sauce.
Cook for 3 to 6 hours.
Serve over pasta with garlic bread.
