Ingredients
12 ounces Farfalle Pasta
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Garlic, Crushed
1 each Onion, Chopped
1 teaspoon Basil, Chopped
1 teaspoon Oregano, Chopped
1 2/3 dozen Mushrooms, sliced
3 1/2 cups
Furmano's Chunky Crushed Tomatoes
1 teaspoon Sugar
12 ounces Broccoli Florets
As Needed Salt
As Needed Freshly Ground Pepper
1/4 cup White Cooking Wine
As Needed Parmesan Cheese, Grated
1/4 cup Toasted Pine Nuts
Preparation
Cook farfalle according to package directions.
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large frying pan and saute garlic, onion, basil, oregano and mushrooms about 4 minutes.
Add Furmano's Chunky Crushed Tomatoes, sugar, broccoli, and salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Raise heat, add wine and cool for 2 minutes.
Serve over farfalle with parmesan cheese and toasted pine nuts.
