Farfalle Primavera

Ingredients
  • 12 ounces Farfalle Pasta
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, Crushed
  • 1 each Onion, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Basil, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano, Chopped
  • 1 2/3 dozen Mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Chunky Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 12 ounces Broccoli Florets
  • As Needed Salt
  • As Needed Freshly Ground Pepper
  • 1/4 cup White Cooking Wine
  • As Needed Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • 1/4 cup Toasted Pine Nuts
Preparation
  1. Cook farfalle according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large frying pan and saute garlic, onion, basil, oregano and mushrooms about 4 minutes.
  3. Add Furmano's Chunky Crushed Tomatoes, sugar, broccoli, and salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Raise heat, add wine and cool for 2 minutes.
  5. Serve over farfalle with parmesan cheese and toasted pine nuts.
