Spiced Shrimp and Cilantro-Lime Salsa "Margaritas"

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Canola Oil
  • 1 each Small Yellow Onion, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 2 1/2 dozen Large Shrimp, Peeled & De-Veined
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ancho Chili Powder
  • 3 5/8 cups Furmano’s Salsa Style Petite Diced Tomatoes Spicy Green Chilies & Lime
  • 6 each Lime Wedges
Preparation
  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Saute onion for 4 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, shrimp, salt and ancho chili powder. Saute 3-4 minutes, until shrimp are pink and tender. Remove from heat.
  4. In 6 margarita glasses, pour Furmano’s Salsa Style Petite Diced Tomatoes Spicy Green Chilies & Lime. Top with 5 shrimp in each glass.
  5. Garnish each glass with a fresh lime wedge.
