Pasta Pizza

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Spiral Macaroni
  • 1 each Egg, Beaten
  • 2 fluid ounces Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • 8 ounces Ground Beef
  • 1 each Small Onion, Chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 each Medium Pepper, Cut Into Strips
  • 1 5/6 cups Furmano's Diced Tomatoes
  • 4 1/2 ounces Sliced Mushrooms, Drained
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
Preparation
  1. Cook pasta and drain.
  2. For pasta crust, in a large bowl, combine egg, milk and parmesan cheese; stir in pasta.
  3. Spread pasta mixture evenly in a greased 12" pizza pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  5. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until meat is brown; drain.
  6. Add pepper, and Furmano's Diced Tomatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 10 to 12 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates.
  7. Stir in mushrooms.
  8. Spoon meat mixture over pizza crust.
  9. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake for 12 minutes or more until cheese is melted.
  11. Cut into wedges.
