Italian Meatloaf

Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 pound Ground Pork
  • 1 cup Onion, Diced
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, Minced
  • 3/4 cup Furmano's Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oregano, Dry
  • 1/2 teaspoon Basil, Dry
  • 1/2 teaspoon Celery, Ground
  • 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 each Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Hot Pepper Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Furmano's Tomato Puree
Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, place all ingredients except for the final measure of Furmano's Tomato Puree. Mix well, taking care that all ingredients are incorporated into one another.
  3. Place mixture into a medium sized meatloaf pan. Using your hand and a small bowl of water smooth out the top of your meatloaf by dipping your hand in water and rubbing it across the top of the meatloaf.
  4. Bake for 1 hour, then top with final measure of Furmano's Tomato Puree.
  5. Bake an additional 15-30 minutes until an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
