Gamberi Marinara (Shrimp)

Ingredients
  • 2 pound Shrimp
  • 3 1/2 cups Furmano's Italian Style Plum Tomatoes, Mashed
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Basil
  • 2 tablespoons White Wine
  • As Needed Oregano
  • As Needed Salt and Pepper
Preparation
  1. Shell & de-vein fresh shrimp; wash; drain well; dry.
  2. In a medium sauce pan in 1/4 cup olive oil, cook garlic over low flame; heat until brown.
  3. Add Furmano's Italian Style Plum Tomatoes, basil, oregano, wine, and salt and pepper.
  4. Cover partially; simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. In a separate large skillet, heat remaining oil; saute shrimp for 3 minutes.
  6. Discard oil and add shrimp to sauce; simmer for 3 minutes.
