Delicious Pepper Steak

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds Flank Steak
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 7/8 cups Furmano's Crushed Tomatoes
  • 4 each Medium Green Peppers, Cut In Strips
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 1/4 liquid cups Beef Bouillon Stock
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
Preparation
  1. Cut meat into thin strips across the grain.
  2. In a pan, heat oil, then brown meat.
  3. Add garlic and saute lightly until it becomes translucent.
  4. Stir in Furmano's Crushed Tomatoes and the peppers.
  5. Add soy sauce, pepper, sugar, ginger and 3/4 cup of the beef stock.
  6. Cover; simmer 25 minutes or until the meat is tender.
  7. Blend cornstarch with the remaining beef stock and stir into the mixture.
  8. Bring to a boil; then simmer about 3 minutes stirring constantly until juices thicken.
  9. Serve over noodles or rice.
