Consistent with Furmano’s “Healthy For You” lower sodium line of tomatoes, Furmano’s introduces new 28 oz. Chunky Crushed Tomatoes with Omega-3. One serving of Furmano’s Chunky Crushed Tomatoes with Omega-3 provides 50mg or 31% of the 160mg Daily Value for a combination of EPA and DHA Omega-3. Supportive but non-conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA Omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Omega-3 has been shown to support heart health and has also been recognized for its role in supporting brain and eye function and development. Furmano’s tomatoes are made with 100% natural lower sodium sea salt (only 160mg of sodium per serving), contain all natural ingredients, are gluten free and are a natural source of antioxidants.
